What is a Trillium?
He loves me. He loves me not.
HE LOVES ME!
The three-petal Trillium is one of the most beloved of all native plants and, like the Wagenmakers, a Michigan native. A small, white to pink to deep lavender delicate plant, it is often found in forests or deep ravines. Arising about the same time as the robins return, it has been called the wake-robin.
Deb Wagenmaker on where the name comes from, "Bob and I were looking for just the right name for our event center and discovered it while hiking through the woods in Hoffmaster State Park. We rounded the dune and were amazed to see a field of these elegant and pristine white beauties."
